Beacons

Beacons are a powerful way of engaging existing customers and potential customers to use and sign up to your loyalty program. A Beacon lets you notify existing customers about usable stamps and rewards on certain product pages The different types of Beacons We have beacons that will display across your website at different stages in a customers journey on your store. These can be from right at the start when looking to sign up as a customer with you, to exploring different products and near the end when they on your cart. Cart Reminder: Stamp balance This is where you can set up a beacon to appear on a customers shopping cart to remind them they have stamps that they can redeem for rewards Note! – The beacon won’t show up on the flyout cart! If a customer closes the cart reward reminder beacon we will not show it on that device for 1 day. Cart Reminder: Unused reward This is where the beacon reminds the customer that their purhase with a valid unused reward and gives then the option to use the reward when a customer goes to view their cart a beacon will appear notifying them of unused rewards that they can claim If a customer closes the cart reward reminder beacon we will not show it on that device for 1 day. Product stamp bonuses This is where you can set up a beacon that displays a message to the customer when they can earn bonus additional stamps for a product they are viewing. When a customer lands on that product, this is what the beacon looks like on your storefront. Once they click on the view product button the widget will open up to show specific product bonuses available, along with the other ways they can earn stamps with your store. Note: For this beacon to work you have to have product bonus stamp activities set up and the product must be in a product bonus activity that is live. If a customer closes the product bonus beacon we will not show it on that device for 1 day for that specific product. We will continue to show the beacon for other products that have not been closed. After this we will show the beacon again. Sign up reminder This is a great way to encourage store visitors and or existing customers to sign up to your loyalty program. The beacon will appear to anyone who has not signed in. You can also have a login link embedded as a reminder to people who have accounts to sign in to view there rewards. If a customer closes the sign up beacon we will not show it on that device for 7 days. After this we will show the beacon again.

Setting up a loyalty page

Create your own dedicated loyalty page that allows you to promote your program to new customers while at the same time allow existing customers who are logged in can: - View their stamp balance - Get their unused rewards - Redeem their stamp cards for new rewards - Check in on their VIP tier status - and more. How to set up your loyalty landing page 1. Go to online stores, then choose Theme 2. Click on the customise button in your current theme 3. Click on pages at the top, then create template 4. Once you’ve created the page, go to pages > add page 5. Select your template that you created earlier. 6. That's it, you can now use the theme editor again to change and update your loyalty page. Adding loyalty page to website menu Once your page is built, time to add it to the menu. 1. In Shopify menu go to content > menus 2. Main menu 1. Add menu item 2. Click link search and a drop down menu will popup Go to pages and then select your loyalty page 3. Click save Building your loyalty page layout Now that you’ve created the landing page template and added it to your store menu, you can start adding in your loyalty page features. 1. In the side menu go to online store > edit theme 2. At the top, click the drop down menu for your pages > pages > your loyalty page 3. On the left hand side, in the template section click on add block > apps 4. You can then click and add the different sections you wish to add to your loyalty page Loyalty Hero Banner This is your main banner, setting the tone for your loyalty page. How It Works This explains to your customers, in three steps, how your program works. Stamp Progress This is where customers can see how many stamps and stamp cards they have. Not logged in logged in Ways to Earn Showcases all the ways customers can earn stamps through your loyalty program. Ways to Redeem Shows the available rewards customers can get, and they can redeem rewards directly from this section. VIP Tiers Displays the loyalty program’s VIP tiers so customers can see what each tier has to offer and which tier they are currently in. Recent Activity Shows a timeline of customer stamp activities with colour-coded entries. Alternative ways to add sections to your theme You can also add the sections to your theme from within our app by visiting Onsite content > Landing Page Sections page in the app. From there you can click on add to theme, this will deep link into the homepage by default and will allow you to see each section. Once you have added all of the above blocks into your page you can simply alter the layout by moving the blocks around on the left hand side menu.
